We are looking for a Scientist Application Data (x|f|m) for our R&D Cell culture systems team in Freiburg (Sartorius CellGenix GmbH). This position provides an excellent opportunity to start and develop your career in the prospering field of new cell-based therapies. You will be part of a small team involved in the generation of application data for our cell culture reagents using various culture systems as well as PoC studies. You will help to make an important contribution to our innovative work in the field of cell and gene therapy.

• Design, execute and analyze experiments within project timelines
• Provide support and assist in the generation of application data and protocols for customers and internal stakeholders
• Participate in cross-functional teams to foster the development of new products and technologies
• Prepare scientific presentation material for publication purposes and congresses
• Stay up to date with currently used protocols in the cell and gene therapy market

What will convince us

• You have a master‘s Degree in the field of Life Science, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing or similar
• Profound experience and knowledge in culturing eukaryotic cells, especially immune cells and stem cells
• Familiar with data analysis tools (R and/or Python) and statistical experimental designs
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve technical issues
• Effective writing and oral skills in English and German are essential
• Flexible attitude, practical and committed to delivering results
• Structured way of working and willingness to work in the laboratory
