Job Title Scientist - Artificial Intelligence Job Description Scientist - Artificial Intelligence The candidate will be leading the development and repurposing of advanced AI solutions, with a focus on medical imaging, clinical and engineering process workflows. The role includes designing and deploying AI algorithms, maintaining models, and collaborating across teams to integrate AI into products and processes. The candidate will also serve as a technical coach, delivering training programs to upskill internal teams in AI concepts and applications. Additional responsibilities include staying current with emerging technologies and converting research into intellectual property. Your Role: Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML algorithms for large-scale data processing and deployment in production environments, ensuring consistent application of best practices and high standards across projects. Maintain AI models, monitor performance and user feedback, and publish periodic status reports. Collaborate within your team and with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into internal process workflows as well as products. Conduct cutting-edge research on the application of AI in medical imaging and related clinical workflows. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in AI. Act as a technical coach for a team or domain by developing and delivering training programs, workshops, and documentation to upskill internal teams in AI concepts and applications. Collaborate to convert research findings into intellectual property (e.g., invention disclosures, patents, or peer-reviewed journal articles). You are fit if: Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent with additional certification in AI/ML and/or Data Science. Minimum 8 years' experience post bachelor's degree OR 5 years' experience post master's degree preferably in healthcare and/or Medical Imaging field Certification in AI/ML, Responsible AI, Data Science and Analytics Experience Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning) Experience in Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) Experience Statistical modeling and optimization Knowledge of generative AI, NLP, and computer vision Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and/or Java Experience with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience in deploying AI models in production environments Publication record in AI/ML conferences or journals Prior experience in conducting technical training or workshops Excellent communication and presentation skills for training and executive meetings How we work together: We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office-based role.
