We are now looking for a driven and experienced Scientist to join AstraZeneca on assignment via WeQuel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Strong hands-on skills in molecular and cellular biology, particularly protein assays and sample preparation
  • Ability to independently design studies and analyze data
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with biological sample preparation for proteomics
  • Understanding of proteomic techniques
  • Familiarity with robotic liquid handlers and laboratory automation
  • Previous work in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to provide technical guidance or mentorship
Responsibilities

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Scientist in this role, you will primarily process tissue samples using cell surface protein enrichment techniques for proteomic analysis. You will also contribute to model development, assay setup, and possibly automation of workflows.

KEY TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Processing tissue samples for proteomic analysis
  • Supporting assay development using automated platforms
  • Planning and executing lab experiments
  • Troubleshooting, analyzing, and presenting results
  • Supporting drug discovery programs through biomarker and molecular assay contributions
