Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

The Cell Line Development team is part of the Upstream Processing (USP) department responsible for vector generation through to full-scale mammalian cell culture. Activities of the Cell Line Development team include the generation of antibody-producing cell lines for GMP production processes, and production of recombinant protein research materials for product-related projects. We are looking for a scientist to support these activities in close collaboration with the USP team as well as other departments. You will execute and report experimental work and/or lead experimental work including critical review of experimental plans, reports, and raw data. In addition, you will be responsible for outsourcing work in close collaboration with various external service providers. You will remain up-to-date on developments in relevant technologies and scientific literature regarding antibody and cell line development and translate these into implementation where applicable. You will remain up to date and act on relevant international guidelines on the use of cell lines for production of antibody (based) products. You will join a stimulating group of technicians and scientists in a very collaborative environment. As part of this group, your personal as well as your scientific growth are encouraged and developed.
