If you’re looking for a rewarding career, a place to call home, apply with us today Job Description We are seeking a motivated, entry-level scientist with a recently completed Ph.D. in biology, bioengineering, or a related field to join our Bioproduct Research and Development team. This lab-based role focuses on gene editing and stem cell biology, contributing to the development of next-generation cell therapies. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with human iPSC culture, CRISPR-based gene editing, and molecular biology techniques, and a strong desire to learn and grow in a GMP environment. Key Responsibilities Perform CRISPR-based gene editing and iPSC cell line generation to support GMP readiness. Develop and optimize workflows for gRNA design, RNP delivery, and clone screening. Characterize edited iPSC clones using PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, sequencing, flow cytometry, and NGS. Support iPSC culture media optimization and differentiation into islet cells. Draft and review SOPs and batch records; maintain compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. Participate in raw material qualification and supplier sourcing. Collaborate effectively within a team to manage multiple projects and timelines. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in biology, bioengineering, or related field (0–1 years of industry experience). Strong foundation in human iPSC culture, CRISPR gene editing, and molecular biology. Proficiency in PCR-based assays, flow cytometry, and sequencing techniques. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: Exposure to GMP operations and electronic lab notebooks. Experience with iPSC differentiation and scale-up. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
