POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Scientist to join our Genomics team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment supporting a wide range of client-driven studies. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in molecular biology techniques such as PCR and nucleic acid handling, and excels in documentation, communication, and collaborative work.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in academic or industry settings.
  • Familiarity with core molecular techniques, including PCR and nucleic acid extraction.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality laboratory documentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and follow instructions in a regulated lab environment.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience in a CRO or GLP/GCLP setting is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Perform molecular biology experiments, including PCR, NGS, nucleic acid extraction, and QC.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and study protocols accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain precise, well-organized lab records, including run sheets, sample logs, and instrument usage.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate progress clearly to senior scientists or PIs.
  • Participate in general lab maintenance, reagent preparation, and inventory tracking.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and quality control procedures as needed.
  • Support client projects using molecular techniques such as qPCR, digital PCR, and NGS.
