Job Title: Scientist I Location: Shirwal, Pune Position Overview The Scientist I is mainly responsible for carrying out independent experiments for product development, product localization, current product tweaking and RM substitution based on industrial experience and technical knowledge along with handling ERP systems like SAP. This function is key driver to support water base adhesive development. Scientist I will coordinate with other supporting functions like planning, production, quality and assist in pilot plant scale-up, transfer of products to full production and provide plant support including quality troubleshooting and root cause analysis. All the results need to be documented in a professional manner. Primary Responsibilities Scientist I is also responsible to support customer substrates, competition sample analysis & compare the same with H.B. Fuller’s products, support in troubleshooting. Also this position is responsible to make lab testing report in very well and presentable manner Scientist I shall fulfill responsibilities as required by the Quality System, Safety, and SOP s for the site, laboratory, and business unit. Scientist I drives experiments and daily work according to HB Fuller safety procedure and ethics. Scientist I Shall Conduct simple experiments and interpret data with guidance from Senior scientist He should learn raw material categories and understand how they might impact a formula /product performance He should learn and accurately repeat test method relevant for your technology or market focus Scientist I should Collaborate with peers and supports development, sharing, and testing of new ideas with the guidance of your supervisor.
