Job Description Set-up and conduct experiments in accordance with Protocol and SOP's. Efficiently carry out procedures necessary to complete each project with minimal supervision. Prepare test solutions and diets in accordance with directions. Perform Dose administration, mating procedures, c-section and fetal evaluations. Collect blood, urine, fecal and tissue specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures and protocols. Meticulously maintain precise records of all experiments in accordance with good laboratory practices. Assist in writing of reports. Follow all PSL safety requirements. Ability to safely wear a respirator required Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate would possess: Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in rodent reproductive toxicology or equivalent in vivo background. Familiar with ICH guidelines particularly for reproductive toxicology in rodents and rabbits Direct experience performing in-life observations and reproductive developmental assessment in rodents and rabbits Direct experience performing fetal and juvenile post-mortem evaluations Bachelor's degree in laboratory animal medicine, toxicology, animal science or biology is preferred, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major) Additional Information Position is full-time, 40 hours a week, weekend rotation needed. The salary range for a Reproductive Toxicology Scientist offers a range of $70,000 to $95,000 depending on level of experience and skill set.
