JOB DESCRIPTION:

SignalChem Biotech Inc. and Sino Biological Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Research Scientist to lead projects focused on organoids. This role is ideal for a PhD-level scientist with a passion for pushing the boundaries of cell biology and a strong background in organoid culture techniques. The position is open to candidates who are either based at SignalChem Biotech Inc. in Richmond, BC, Canada, or willing to relocate to Beijing, China.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years of experience in organoid culture is required. (PhD is strongly preferred).
  • Experience of cellular assays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams within SignalChem Biotech and/or Sino Biological Headquarters in China.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record demonstrating meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Quick learner with the ability to rapidly apply new concepts and techniques.
    Pay: Based on qualification and experience
    From $70,000 per year (Scientist)
    or From $85,000 per year (Senior Scientist)
    Compensation is negotiable for candidates willing to relocate to China.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for CRO and R&D projects related to organoid culture, including evaluating, designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with teammates.
  • Development and optimization of products related to organoid culture.
  • Analyze experimental data and properly document experiments, and prepare experimental reports.
  • Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data.
  • Other related duties as needed or assigned.
