WE ARE LOOKING FOR SENIOR / RESEARCH SCIENTISTS (4) TO JOIN OUR QUANTUM SENSORS TEAM AT ESPOO!
Our team is part of VTT’s Microelectronics and Quantum Technology research area. The international quantum teams consist of experts working on superconducting electronics, quantum computing technologies, cryogenic CMOS, semiconductor qubits, semiconductor and graphene transistors and circuits, graphene-based bolometer detectors, and solid-state coolers. The group offers expertise in device simulation and design, nanofabrication in Micronova cleanrooms, and characterisation in cryogenic laboratories. Research is conducted collaboratively with other VTT teams, research partners, and customers both within Finland and internationally. The team participates in various European quantum technology research projects and national initiatives and supports VTT’s approach to advancing quantum computing and sensing technologies aimed at addressing global challenges.
We are seeking qualified experts to support the establishment of Pilot Line facilities dedicated to European quantum semiconductor initiatives. These pilot lines will serve as advanced centres for research, development, testing, manufacturing, and design within the microelectronics sector. The facilities will be available to a wide range of stakeholders, including academia, research institutes, SMEs, and industry partners. Funding for pilot line development is provided by both the European Commission and EU member states.
