SUMMARY: The Assistant Manager sets an ‘upbeat and happy tone’ for the store. He/she ensures that the mission, principles, and Scooter’s touchstones are carried out, embraced, and modeled by Baristas in the Store Manager’s absence. The Assistant Manager is the Head Barista and a role model for all other Baristas. He/she exhibits a high level of customer service, extensive product knowledge, the ability to assist in training, and attentiveness to store appearance and Barista behavior.
