Job description:
The ANDRITZ Group is a plant engineering and service provider for hydropower plants, the pulp and paper industry, the metal industry, and other specialized industries (solid-liquid separation, feed, and biomass). ANDRITZ Fiedler GmbH is part of the Pulp & Paper sector and primarily manufactures technical wear products for plants in paper and food production, such as screen baskets and rotors, as well as protective screens.
The company, based in Regensburg, employs approximately 300 workers.
We are currently looking for a

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsibility for the product design, manufacturing and competitiveness for the new product line “UTurn rotor” as well as bearing units for pressure screens in general
• Project execution from sales hand over to project delivery.
• Managing profitability of individual products based on actual COGS levels and market pricing
• Responsibility to develop a competitive product portfolio incl. scope, performance, price, standardization and life cycle roadmap
• Developing USP’s (unique selling proposition) and value proposition for every product development
• Develop cost effective supplier network and ensure global spare parts availability
• Best-practice sharing internally and externally
• Interaction with our global organization
• Provide product training for the region sales organizations to meet target volumes
• Reports directly to the Head of Global Product Home

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering or similar technical background required
• Project management experience
• Good CAD skills in 2 and 3D (AutoCAD, preferably Inventor)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Good MS Office skills: SAP skills are an advantage
• Languages: English (must have), German (good to have)
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the working time according to business needs.
