Description The primary goal of the scribe is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the admitting clinician they are working for effectively entering the data into to the EMR as the Admitting clinician dictates the data. Essential Job Functions Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with patients and family members / personal representatives. Maintain a current knowledge of all applicable local, State and Federal regulations governing health records. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to the data collection. Enter the admission, Resumption, and Recertification into the EMR. Communicate with new patients and/or family via telephone. Actively participate in the home health’s quality assurance / performance improvement program. Job Types: Full-Time Physical Setting: Office- Waukesha Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8am-4:30pm Requirements Commitment to quality programs and services Computer skills; keyboarding and filing abilities. Excellent communications and human relation skills. Reliable and able to maintain good attendance record. Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information. Excellent computer skills. Attention to detail. Understanding of medical terminology.
