Role Purpose The Scriptwriter plays a pivotal role in designing compelling, technically precise, and pedagogically effective scripts for audiovisual training materials. This position ensures that complex technical and behavioral content is transformed into accessible narratives that drive learner engagement, knowledge retention, and measurable performance outcomes. Key Accountabilities Develop clear, concise, and engaging scripts for educational and corporate training videos aligned with organizational learning objectives and brand guidelines. Translate technical and behavioral subject matter into accessible storytelling tailored to diverse audiences. Apply advanced instructional design methodologies including microlearning, nanolearning, and educational “pills” to optimize short‑format content delivery. Conduct research and synthesize technical and educational inputs from subject matter experts and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with instructional designers, content developers, videographers, and editors to ensure script feasibility and production quality. Participate in planning sessions and creative brainstorming to generate innovative narrative concepts. Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine scripts while maintaining alignment with corporate standards. Ensure all scripts adhere to inclusion, accessibility, and non‑ableist guidelines, while remaining culturally sensitive and audience‑appropriate. What Success Looks Like Delivery of training video scripts that consistently achieve high learner engagement and comprehension. Seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, resulting in efficient production workflows. Positive stakeholder feedback on clarity, creativity, and instructional effectiveness of scripts. Demonstrated ability to adapt complex content into concise, impactful narratives that resonate across varied learner profiles. Alignment of all outputs with corporate standards for quality, accessibility, and inclusivity. Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Audiovisual Studies, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or Literature. Proven experience in scripting educational or training videos. Exceptional writing and communication skills, with mastery of Portuguese grammar and style. Strong knowledge of storytelling techniques and narrative structures. Familiarity with instructional methodologies and learning design principles (desirable). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and planning skills. Resilience under pressure and capability to meet tight deadlines. Creativity, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to delivering high‑quality, learner‑centric content.
