We are seeking a reliable and experienced Scrub Nurse (EN or RN) to assist a leading Facial Plastic Surgeon on the Gold Coast. This flexible role is ideal for someone looking to join a supportive surgical team in a boutique private setting.
The position is based at Miami Private Hospital, with occasional post-operative follow-up care conducted at the surgeon’s rooms in Bundall.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub duties for facial plastic surgery procedures
• Assiting the team with case setup
• Retraction during the case
• Assisting with fat graft preparation and surgical instrumentation
• Ensuring a sterile operative environment and smooth case flow
• Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a scrub nurse
• Strong knowledge of theatre nursing, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Must hold an ABN and will be engaged as an independent contractor
• Must have current indemnity insurance (or be willing to update to reflect new status)
• Availability for 1–4 weekday shifts per month
• Preference given to candidates based on the Gold Coast
