REQUIREMENTS:

Shapes the development and implementation of the One Agile Way of Working so that it can continuously improve. Promotes the culture appropriate to the Agile Way of Working and is the figurehead of the associated behavior. The SM engages people by using clear communication, giving and receiving constructive feedback, understanding and simplifying complex issues, and contributing to the desired culture change.

Scrum Master are experts responsible for directing teams, ensuring that organization goals are attained, implementing and monitoring software development processes, and reporting to senior management. Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done; Causing the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team’s progress and ensuring that all scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.

  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
  • Knowledge and experience on organizing and running Sprint. Ensuring the squad adheres to Sprint cadence.

Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.

  • Works with Head of TMO and other Scrum Masters to ensure that Dashboards are aligned.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Ensure the Azure Boards are up-to date.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years of work experience
  • Must Have: Azure DevOps, CSM/Scrum certification and working in Agile projects.
  • Nice to Have: Banking and Financial Services Experience
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing, Agile Games
  • Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Strong experience in software design and development
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
