Position: Scrum Master
Location: Primarily remote (must attend some onsite meetings in Edmonton, AB)
Duration / Hours: ~12 Months
Pay Rate: CAD 75/hr C2C or CAD 65/hr W2
Submission Limit: 5 per supplier
Role Overview

The Scrum Master will support digital transformation projects within the client’s Digital Design and Delivery Division (DDD). They will:

• Facilitate agile ceremonies and practices across cross-functional teams.
• Mentor teams and product owners on agile principles, backlog management, and delivery practices.
• Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, backlog health).
• Coach on estimation, sprint commitments, and dependency management.
• Ensure transparency, communication, and conflict resolution within teams.
• Occasionally participate in user research and service delivery activities.

The Scrum Master may work across 2–3 projects at a time and must provide their own equipment.
Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM):

• Coaching teams on Agile, facilitating ceremonies, fostering collaboration → 2 years
• Leading and facilitating key agile ceremonies → 4 years
• Working in an agile development environment → 5 years
• Delivering training via web-based platforms (e.g., MS Teams) → 2 years
• Sprint/backlog planning aligned to product owner priorities → 2 years
• Using backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) → 2 years
• Software development processes and best practices → 5 years
• Public sector experience → 2 years
• Working with UX, service design, or human-centered design teams → 2 years
