Your role
Enable the manufacturing of next generation microchips and join #TeamZeiss in the Semiconductor Mask Solutions (SMS) business unit. Semiconductor lithography drives today’s digitalization and inherently relies on defect-free photomasks – the blue print for every microchip. Our devices analyze and manipulate such photomasks by processing huge amounts of data with state-of-the-art algorithms. As a Scrum Master, you support the ongoing transformation towards an agile organization and advise on the implementation of new approaches. In particular, the following important tasks are included:
- You take responsibility for the Scrum framework, as well as actively organizing and moderating Scrum events
- You accompany one to two development teams and are responsible for their efficient collaboration
- You identify as a true leader and remove obstacles in everyday work as well as barriers between teams and stakeholders.
- You live and convey agile values and inspire your teams for agile practices and principles
- You coordinate with other Scrum Masters and drive the agile transition forward
- You develop and coach experts for self-organization and cross-functional teamwork

Your profile
- Several years of experience in classical as well as agile project management
- Sound knowledge as a Scrum Master with agile methods and distributed teams, including the integration of external employees
- Very good methodological knowledge in moderation, motivation, change management, and team development
- Affinity for software and algorithm development is advantageous
- Confident appearance, pronounced communication and persuasive skills as well as solution-oriented work
- Goal-oriented, independent, and structured way of working, also in a technically complex environment
- A certification as Scrum Master (CSM® or PSM™ I) is desirable
- Very good German (C1-C2) and English skills (B2-C1) in spoken and written form
