JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. You will facilitate the Scrum process, ensuring that teams adhere to Agile principles while fostering an environment of continuous improvement and collaboration.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including SAFe, Kanban, and Test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and IT infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle) and disaster recovery planning is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective negotiation skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies. Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective team collaboration.
  • Coach team members on Agile practices and principles, promoting a culture of accountability and self-organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity of requirements.
  • Monitor project progress using tools such as Jira, TFS, or VersionOne, providing visibility into project status for stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove impediments that may hinder team progress, facilitating solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that test cases align with project requirements.
  • Engage in requirements gathering and analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are met throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Utilize project management methodologies such as PMBOK and Kanban for effective project scheduling and implementation.
  • Foster strong communication among team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
