POSITION OVERVIEW

Buchanan Technologies is seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a web-based tools development project. This individual will play a key role in guiding cross-functional teams in the adoption and execution of Agile practices, ensuring effective delivery of project objectives while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating all core ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles and promote continuous improvement within the team.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business goals.
• Identify, manage, and remove impediments to ensure progress and timely delivery.
• Track and report on key metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile KPIs.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices to enhance organizational agility.
• Maintain clear and effective communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably supporting web-based application or SaaS projects.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
• Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and support team development.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience working with distributed teams in a fully remote environment is a plus.
