Description

CR2 is a leading provider of Internet and multichannel banking, ATM and card payment solutions to the worldwide financial services industry.
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Scrum Master to lead two Agile teams (8–10 engineers per team) developing our next-generation cloud-native platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the teams deliver high-quality software efficiently, drive Agile adoption, and create a trusted and psychologically safe work environment.
You will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, coaching teams, and aligning development efforts with business priorities, ensuring we meet our customers’ evolving needs.

Responsibilities

Ø Agile Leadership & Team Coaching

  • Coach and guide two Java Spring Boot teams on Agile best practices, helping them work effectively.
  • Ensure Agile principles are embedded in the team’s daily work.
  • Drive a safe, trusted, and open work environment that encourages collaboration, feedback, and innovation.

Ø Agile Process Facilitation & Continuous Delivery

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure backlog refinement is an active, ongoing process, improving clarity and prioritization.
  • Promote a sustainable and predictable delivery cadence, optimizing sprint commitments.

Ø Impediment Removal & Risk Management

  • Identify and remove blockers, dependencies, and inefficiencies that impact team delivery.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Escalate risks early and collaborate on mitigation strategies.

Ø Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as a bridge between development teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide visibility into sprint progress, risks, and delivery expectations.
  • Ensure customer needs and priorities are well understood by the teams.

Ø Data-Driven Continuous Improvement

  • Use Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown charts) to identify trends and improve team performance.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning by ensuring retrospective feedback translates into actionable improvements.
  • Encourage automation, DevOps practices, and Agile engineering excellence.
