Job Description Join EDF’s Solutions and Automations team as a Scrum Master and lead the charge in our agile transformation. You’ll empower product teams to deliver smarter, faster, and more collaboratively - making a real impact from day one. The Opportunity As part of our growing department, you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding agile ways of working and ensuring successful product delivery through effective Scrum practices. You’ll be assigned to one or more product teams and may also rotate into our Rapid Response team, giving you exposure to a variety of initiatives and challenges. This role is suited to experienced Scrum Masters who have demonstrable success leading agile teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies. While we support continuous learning, this is not an entry-level position. What you’ll be doing Agile Facilitation: Guide product teams in agile principles and Scrum practices. Scrum Events: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Team Empowerment: Foster a self-organising, high-performing team culture. Agile Best Practices: Promote consistent use of agile tools and techniques. Delivery Stewardship: Champions delivery stewardship by fostering agile practices, promoting ownership, and ensuring teams deliver measurable outcomes efficiently and sustainably. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders. Impediment Removal: Identify and resolve blockers to maintain team momentum. Performance Metrics: Track and communicate team progress using agile metrics. Continuous Improvement: Drive retrospectives and knowledge sharing across teams. Agile Coaching: Support the wider organisation in adopting agile mindsets and behaviours. Who you are A certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or SAFe) with a track record of delivering value through agile teams. Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a product or software delivery environment. Skilled in removing impediments, facilitating team dynamics, and driving continuous improvement. Ability to coach teams and stakeholders in agile principles and practices. Confident working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable using agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to guide team performance. Results-oriented professional who takes ownership and delivers on commitments. Hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, and Miro in agile team settings. Familiarity with Agile Release Trains (ART) and Program Increment (PI) Planning is a plus.
