Our Opportunity Work Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people. Roster: Monday to Friday. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the development and enhancement of Fortescue built applications. This role works closely with business product owners, business analysts, stakeholders, and technical delivery teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and aligned to business outcomes. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile practices while helping teams manage priorities, dependencies, and delivery across applications built on .NET, Microsoft Dynamics, and SharePoint platforms.Key Responsibilities Serve as Scrum Master for the Agile delivery teams developing and enhancing Fortescue built applications. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with business product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to support backlog refinement, requirements clarification and prioritisation. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements are clear, actionable and ready for development. Apply business analysis experience to help bridge gaps between business needs and technical implementation when required. Support development teams using .NET, Dynamics, and SharePoint, ensuring clear communication and removal of delivery impediments. Manage Agile delivery using Jira, including sprint planning, backlog management, reporting, and dashboards. Track and communicate delivery progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burn-downs, sprint goals). Identify and proactively resolve risks, dependencies and blockers across business and technical teams Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum practices, adapting approaches to fit the organization Promote continuous improvement in delivery processes, collaboration and stakeholder engagement Assist business teams in testing and training. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a Scrum Master role. Strong leadership and personal skills. Experience working with Jira for Agile delivery, backlog management and reporting. Experience in Agile Software Practices. Experience delivering custom or internally developed applications. Understanding/Exposure to of DevOps processes and tools. Strong facilitation, communication, and problem solving skills. About Us Be part of something big.
