POSITION DESCRIPTION: Inadev is seeking a Technical Scrum Master / IT Project Manager to support the delivery of complex technology initiatives across AWS cloud infrastructure, product, and software teams. This role will own the schedule and facilitate Agile practices while also managing project coordination, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate has experience working with technical teams (engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and architecture) and can balance Agile team facilitation with structured IT project management practices. This individual will ensure Agile ceremonies run smoothly, remove technical impediments, and help guide projects from planning through delivery. RESPONSIBILITES: Scrum Master Responsibilities Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Guide teams in implementing Agile and Scrum best practices. Remove technical and organizational impediments affecting team productivity. Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, story definition, and prioritization. Track sprint progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and sprint goals. Foster collaboration between engineering, QA, DevOps, architecture, and operations teams. Promote continuous improvement and Agile maturity across teams. IT Project Management Responsibilities Plan and coordinate delivery of technical IT projects including system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and software deployments. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Coordinate cross-team technical dependencies between engineering, security, operations, and vendors. Provide regular status updates and reporting to leadership and stakeholders. Support release planning, change management, and deployment coordination. Ensure alignment between Agile sprint execution and overall project roadmap. Requirements NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Northern Virginia/DC/MD area as required. Must have the ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance. Strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to prioritize and self-start. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, (or related field). Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Technical Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead. Must possess experience supporting IT infrastructure, software development, or systems integration projects. Must possess demonstrable experience and a strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum. Must have hands-on experience working with Agile and project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar. Must possess a strong understanding of technical delivery lifecycles, system implementations, and software releases. Must possess excellent communication and facilitation skills working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Prior experience at a Big 6 (or comparable large) consulting firm strongly preferred.
