Job Title: Scrum Master Location:Pune Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our dynamic development team in Bangalore. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your primary focus will be on guiding and coaching the development team, product owner, and organization on Agile principles and practices. If you have a strong understanding of Scrum methodology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile Processes: Act as a servant leader and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide and coach the development team and product owner in adopting Agile best practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress. Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment that encourages creativity, transparency, and continuous improvement. Project Management: Work closely with the product owner to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories are clear, concise, and actionable. Assist in estimating and planning sprints, monitoring sprint progress, and ensuring that sprint goals are met. Track and report key project metrics, such as velocity and burndown, to provide transparency and visibility to stakeholders. Continuously monitor project risks and dependencies, and proactively identify and address potential issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality. Coach and Mentor: Guide and mentor the development team on Agile practices, empowering them to become self-organized and cross-functional. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by providing feedback, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting Agile principles and values. Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and across stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of project goals. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in a Scrum Master role. Proven expertise in agile methodologies and frameworks. Strong technical background with experience in software engineering practices. Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
