Job Description
We’re extremely excited to now be recruiting a brand new permanent vacancy for a Scrum Master in our Retail Protection business. Your role will sit in the commercial team and support cross-functional teams in embedding agile thinking and applying agile values, basics and practices to help achieve business goals and deliver successful outcomes. You will support all aspects of the delivery process, combining technical excellence and your understanding and practical experience of how Agile ways of working

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading, coaching and developing Agile teams utilising Scrum and other frameworks to achieve the successful delivery of commercial products and outcomes.
  • Facilitating agile events and ceremonies; ensure release and sprint planning, daily stand-up, show & tell, refinement and retrospectives are effective and drive a continuous improvement culture.
  • embedding continuous improvement across Agile processes and practices.
  • Supervising and Facilitating discussions to enable swift conflict resolution, empowering the team to self-organise and manage.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members, product owner and sponsors on agile values, basics and practices.

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:

  • A professionally certified Scrum Master with some experience, who has helped transition and coach teams in applying the Scrum framework, and agile practices.
  • Desirable to have experience in applying Scrum to non-technical teams or blended teams.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring diverse teams and senior stakeholders in the Scrum framework.
  • Experience in motivating high performing teams, fostering and culture of continuous improvement, failing forwards and learning to improve future success.
  • Experience of working with remote, virtual and cross functional teams, conducting virtual ceremonies (events) using digital collaboration tools.
