REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • This role will be open to Scrum Masters who are based in Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide.
  • Must have at least Baseline or Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
    A Scrum Master will work within a multi-skilled, diverse team to deliver incremental software and infrastructure changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Developing your teams’ knowledge of Agile practices, principles, and cultures removing delivery impediments and contributing to the Agile Release Train priorities.
  • Facilitating and leading Agile events, identifying and analyzing risks relating to agile delivery of software assess the agile maturity of your team, champion agile value, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other scrum masters to champion agile values, assist the team to maintain or become high performing and successful.
  • Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services.
  • Contributes to the selection of the software development methods, tools and techniques.
  • Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes.
  • Participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues’ work.
