ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The department is responsible for delivering (IT-)Change. The delivery teams are responsible for managing demand from business units, implementing changes to applications, integration of IT-systems (interfacing with internal and external sources), handing over to support. Implementation will be done in close cooperation with the respective functional business owners per application and IT infrastructure (e.g. configuration and release management and database management).

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Vocational (equal to ‘HBO-level’ in the Netherlands) in Information Management, Information Technology or other relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with IT delivery is a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Master or willingness to certify within first 3 months.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities
  • Enable Agile mindset and practices: promote and model agile values. Support the teams in understanding and practicing agile behaviours and collaboration models.
  • Team empowerment and self-organization: facilitate the team’s development toward autonomy, shared accountability, and a continuous delivery mindset.
  • Facilitation of scrum events: organize and moderate scrum events to maximize transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
  • Impediment removal: actively identify, surface, and help remove barriers that hinder the team’s ability to deliver.
  • Continuous improvement: support teams in identifying performance improvements and learning opportunities. Facilitate retrospectives with actionable outcomes.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: work closely with Business Analysts, and stakeholders to improve flow of communication, clarity of requirements, and shared understanding of goals.
  • Team health monitoring: using team metrics, help the team improve velocity, quality, and morale over time.
  • Agile coaching: mentor individuals and teams in agile best practices.
