Piper Companies is seeking a Scrum Master to join a trusted leader in financial services, known for innovation, scale, and long-term focus for a full-time, remote contract position. The Scrum Master will guide Agile teams by applying Scrum principles, coaching for continuous improvement, and partnering with Product Owners to manage backlogs, remove impediments, and ensure effective Agile ceremonies.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SCRUM MASTER INCLUDE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Introductory Scrum Master certification required; advanced certification strongly preferred.
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Lean) with a focus on delivering customer value.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and deliver high-value outcomes aligned with product roadmaps.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams to enhance performance, maturity, and adoption of Agile principles, practices, and tools.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, while promoting transparency through the use of metrics and performance artifacts.
• Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to support integrated solution delivery and foster a culture of agility and innovation.
