SCRUM MASTER:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Scrum Master for a 10-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SCRUM MASTER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role involves acting as a Scrum Master with a focus on banking or insurance projects, utilizing Agile methodologies. The project is centered around enhancing current platforms within the banking or insurance sectors.

SCRUM MASTER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience in banking or insurance industries
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with remote and hybrid team setups

SCRUM MASTER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies
• Experience with digital transformation projects
• Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in banking or insurance
• Experience with stakeholder management

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and progress
• Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to maintain team productivity
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices
• Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders
