Description

WE ARE SEEKING EXPERIENCED SCRUM MASTERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND SUPPORT HIGH-IMPACT DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS.

The successful candidates will lead cross-functional teams through Agile delivery, facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and coaching teams on Agile best practices. This is a fixed-term contract (up to 24 months) with a primarily remote work arrangement and occasional onsite sessions as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Active professional Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
  • 4+ years leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies and team delivery.
  • 2+ years coaching teams on Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices, frameworks, and delivery principles.
  • Proven experience in backlog management, sprint planning, and supporting Product Owners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in digital transformation or service delivery projects.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience delivering web-based training sessions (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
  • Experience working in or with public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of UX design, service design, or human-centred design practices.
  • Experience with software development processes and related best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional product delivery teams in Agile principles, policies, and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and product demos.
  • Coach teams on effective Agile practices, including estimation, sprint commitments, dependency management, and removing blockers.
  • Act as liaison between Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure sprint goals are achieved.
  • Maintain delivery metrics and report on product-level plans, progress, and quality using tools such as sprint burndown charts, velocity charts, and backlogs.
  • Participate in digital service delivery activities, including user research and usability testing.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to foster self-organizing teams and continuous improvement.
