JOB DESCRIPTION –

  • Coach two Scrum teams to enhance Agile maturity and maintain a sustainable development pace.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrums and support Program Increment (PI) execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
  • Maintain and report on Agile metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, defect trends, and completion rates.
  • Support Product Owners in backlog management, user story refinement, and prioritization.
  • Anticipate and remove impediments to ensure consistent delivery of value.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting Agile principles and best practices across teams and the organization.
  • Foster a safe and trusting team environment focused on collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Influence Agile behaviors across stakeholders and leadership through direct feedback and coaching.
  • Engage with individual team members to identify opportunities for Agile performance improvement and mindset enhancement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe certification.
  • Proven experience as a dedicated Scrum Master applying Agile, Scrum/SAFe, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to remove roadblocks effectively.
  • Highly organized with experience in leading Agile ceremonies and tracking progress metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and facilitate collaboration.
  • Effective coaching skills to guide teams toward self-organization and goal achievement.
  • Passionate about Agile with experience influencing without direct authority in matrixed organizations.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
    Experience with Agile Release Trains or as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).

    Pay: $109,735.29 - $120,000.00 per year
    Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 3030
