OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and a passion for fostering collaboration and efficiency within software development teams. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our teams through the Agile process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and methodologies (SAFe preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise software development processes including SDLC, Waterfall, and Test-driven development.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and cloud computing platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle) and IT infrastructure is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather requirements effectively and negotiate solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration among diverse groups. Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and ensure clarity of requirements for development teams.
  • Monitor project progress and performance using tools such as Jira, TFS, or VersionOne, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
  • Assist in the identification and removal of impediments that may hinder team progress.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status.
  • Utilize project management software to track project schedules, manage risks, and report on project health.
  • Foster an environment of open communication and teamwork across cross-functional teams.
