ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
As an SCU Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for monitoring SCU suppliers, supportingdevelopment, ensuring progress and quality You will work closely with cross-functional teams toensure that SCU systems meet all technical and safety requirements, as well as functional andcybersecurity requirements related to integration with other onboard systems, including but notlimited to SAS.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitoring SCU suppliers, progress, and quality.
- Analyzing and quality-assuring data from SCU systems to identify and resolve any issues.
- Compliance with the Contract requirements and its national and international code andstandards
- Collaborating with other engineers and specialists to integrate SCU systems with othercontrol systems.
- Contribute to documenting technical solutions and changes in SCU systems.
- Participating in meetings and projects related to SCU systems.
- Not directly responsible for cyber security requirements but support the implementation ofthe same
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in automation, electronics, or equivalent.
- Experience in designing and developing control systems, preferably SCU.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations within subsea technology.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations within cyber security in OT systems.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
