Conduct dive briefings and debriefings, including safety protocols and site overviews. Guide certified divers and ensure their safety throughout the dive experience. Teach and certify students in PADI (or equivalent) courses, following agency standards. Perform risk assessments and plan dives based on weather, currents, and guest experience. Monitor and log Nitrox usage, dive logs, and boat manifests accurately. Refill tanks and clean equipment after each dive session. Maintain inventory of gear, tanks, and spares; report shortages to the line manager. Promote dive and water sports activities to guests and encourage participation. Ensure emergency readiness, including oxygen kits and first aid supplies. Support water sports operations and excursions when needed. Check guest arrivals and bookings in Opera and ensure accurate billing and posting. Communicate daily plans with the boat captain and update bookings for the next day. Open and close the Dive Center on assigned days Ensure cleanliness and disinfection of the reception area, dive gear, and boats daily. Qualifications PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and EFR Instructor, both in active teaching status Minimum 2 years experience and prior working experience in a resort environment in the Maldives is preferred.
