EDUCATION

• A PhD’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Strong background in grid-connected power converters.
• Deep knowledge of advanced power conversion topologies, particularly MMC and SST.
• Proficient in simulation tools for power converters, such as PSCAD and PSIM.
• Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and PHIL systems.
• Proven ability to develop power converter prototypes at relevant power levels.
• Skilled in conducting experiments in power electronics laboratories.
• Experienced in implementing control loops on DSP systems, especially TI C2000.
• Familiar with microcontroller programming tools, notably Code Composer Studio.
• Solid understanding of programming languages, particularly C# and Python.
• Proficient in control systems design and analysis using MATLAB.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, self-organized, and innovative.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within an international team at the ICES RDI unit.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Good level both written and spoken English
