Description
Fully Remote — Global (Focus on GMT or EST) The Mission: Leading the Quality Evolution for Agentic AI Search Atlas is moving beyond suggestions to full execution. Our core agent, Atlas Brain, handles SEO and AI content generation autonomously, zero manual intervention. To support this, we are evolving our QA paradigm from rigid scripts to autonomous systems capable of reasoning and self-healing. As a SDET, you will not just automate tests; you will architect the quality nervous system for a complex ecosystem. You will lead the technical direction of our testing frameworks, ensuring our AI agents remain reliable while navigating a high-scale microservices architecture What You Will Do (Technical Focus) Navigate Complex Architectures: Own quality for a realistic Search Atlas slice consisting of 6 Express microservices and a Next.js frontend. Architect AI Automation: Evaluate and refine our QABot AI test automation package, identifying and fixing deliberate architectural flaws. Master Modern Tooling: Drive the adoption and fluency of Stagehand and Playwright across the engineering organization. Apply Diagnostic Rigor: Identify and resolve complex bugs across three difficulty tiers (Easy, Medium, and Hard) using distributed traces and CI reports. Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical diagnostic findings and architectural judgments into Executive Briefings and Agent Evaluation reports. Optimize Operations: Analyze pre-generated ops artifacts, including trend analysis and distributed telemetry, to maintain high system reliability. What We’re Looking For Architectural Judgment: A proven ability to critique and improve test automation architecture at scale. Tooling Expertise: Deep fluency in Playwright and emerging agentic frameworks like Stagehand. Diagnostic Rigor: A "forensic" approach to troubleshooting distributed systems and microservices. Strategic Communication: The ability to communicate technical risks and readiness to stakeholders clearly and concisely. Salary & Benefits Compensation: $4,000 – $5,500 USD per month (depending on location and experience). Paid Time Off: 15 Days PTO + Christmas Day + New Year’s Day. Culture: Collaborative, excellence-driven, and innovative environment with a "Student Mentality" toward learning. Our Recruitment Process Initial Screening: Call with our recruitment team. Live Technical Assessment: A 90-minute live pairing session. Final Interview: Technical leadership deep dive with our Hiring Manager. Offer Extended.
