As an SDET you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of the clients core products. You will design and execute comprehensive performance tests, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions. This role requires a problem-solver with strong performance testing expertise, automation skills, and a deep understanding of modern software performance methodologies Responsibilities Design and implement performance testing strategies and performance test plans across the software and hardware stack to meet business and scalability goals. Execute end-to-end performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for critical platform features and services. Develop and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, Artillery, K6, Gatling). Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins. Use observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Datadog to analyze performance results and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate issues. Set up performance test environments leveraging cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Apply structured analysis to dissect performance data and provide actionable insights. Work closely with system architects and infrastructure teams to optimize performance configurations. Provide regular performance reports, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders. Stay updated with emerging performance testing trends, tools, and best practices. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve performance challenges. 4+ years of experience in software performance testing, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software environments. Proficiency with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or equivalents. Strong scripting or programming experience (e.g., Java, Python). Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTTP/REST APIs) and APM tools like Datadog or Grafana. Practical understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
