SDM Incident Specialist This is your mission Are you passionate about infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and client communication? Then this position is for you. As an SDM Incident Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable and secure exchange of technical data between internal entities and external partners in our ecosystem: Build side: Work on improving connectivity protocols and data flow management. Contribute to continuous service improvement processes and documentation. Assist in the testing and coordination of new connections or flows with internal and external teams. Run side: Monitor daily message/file flows and detect failures or delays. Investigate and resolve incidents related to file transfers, network connectivity, and security issues. Serve as the principal point of contact for external partners, ensuring timely resolution and clear updates on incident status. Keep the Known Error Database updated and contribute to post-incident reviews. This is your background You have at least 3+ years of experience in demanding Infrastructure Support and Incident Management environments. You enjoy troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and are passionate about client communication. This is your expertise: Technical Skills: Expertise in file transfer protocols: PeSIT, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS Experience with middleware solutions: Axway CFT, Axway Secure Transport, IBM MQ (API knowledge is a plus) Data encryption: PGP / GPG Channel encryption: TLS, SSH Network fundamentals: Understanding of network topologies, firewalls (IP scopes, ranges), leased lines, market providers Familiar with tools like Jira, ServiceNow (SNOW), Sentinel, and MQ/Firewall configuration tools Key Skills: Client communication: Ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical clients, ensuring clarity and understanding. Operational support & troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents efficiently. Coordination: Act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., ADM, APS, and development teams) and external partners to ensure timely incident resolution. Attention to detail: Ability to dive deep into logs, network configurations, and incident data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Multilingual: Proficiency in English and French is essential for client communication.
