About The Role As the Educational Leader, you will foster a stimulating, child safe and inclusive environment that supports all areas of child development while working collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educators and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualised early childhood education and care for children diagnosed with Autism. This will include: Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of a high-quality early learning program, ensuring children’s strengths, interests and needs are identified and supported Guide educators in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and maintaining National Quality Standards (NQS) to achieve high-quality ratings Support educator capability through mentoring, coaching and skill development to deliver quality learning programs Balance face-to-face teaching with operational and non-teaching responsibilities to support centre requirements Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, licensing and regulatory requirements Foster a stimulating, inclusive environment that supports all areas of child development About You: You will have experience and skills in the following: University qualifications in Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the early childhood education and care industry Excellent understanding of current early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework, and naturalistic, responsive early childhood intervention practices Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the implications for centres Working with Children Check (NSW) and Current Senior First Aid Certificate Food Handler Certificate Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging early learning experiences Child protection training and commitment to child safety Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration What is on offer: Full not-for-profit salary packaging Competitive Salary & Benefits – Enjoy a rewarding career with great perks and work-life balance Discounted childcare fees & priority placement for your children Rostered day off per month (full-time staff) Generous leave entitlements, including 12 days personal / carer’s leave Professional training and development to support you to continue to learn and grow Employee Assistance Program Other benefits can be seen here: Why work for SDN?
