· Diploma in Early Childhood Education |Permanent Full Time Role · Toddlers Room (2-3years) | 6-12 months relevant work experience · Monday – Friday 38hours per week The SDN Kingsford Toddlers are seeking a Senior Educator, responsible for 2-3years old room. The role requires passion for high quality early childhood education and care to children and to plan and support the implementation of an approved learning framework. About The Role · Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and stakeholders, promoting engagement and participation · Drive observation, documentation, and reflective practices to enhance children’s learning outcomes · Create safe, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate environments that support all areas of child development · Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and child safety standards, maintaining a strong child-safe culture · Support daily operations, routines, and wellbeing practices, including guiding children’s care and development needs · Model professionalism, positive behaviours, and strong working relationships across the service · Mentor and support educators while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment · Lead the delivery, planning, and evaluation of high-quality early learning programs aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards About You: · Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care · Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards · Working with Children Check (NSW) · Sound understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene and nutritional needs · Current Senior First Aid Certificate · Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable) · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Experience in a similar role · Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved and current Child Protection Training qualification What is on offer: · Above award pay and conditions (plus WRP) · Discounted childcare fees & priority placement for your children · Paid lunch breaks and to complete administration · Rostered day off per month (full-time staff) · Generous leave entitlements, including 12 days personal / carer’s leave · Professional training and development to support you to continue to learn and grow · Employee Assistance Program · Other benefits can be seen here: Why work for SDN?
