Description
About Plum Plum is on a mission to make health insurance simple, accessible, and genuinely useful for modern organizations. Backed by Tiger Global and Peak XV Partners, we've built a product people love and now we're scaling it to reach 10 million lives by FY2030. About Plum Personal Plum Personal is a new venture being built within Plum, and this is one of the earliest roles in it. If you're just starting out and want to learn what it actually takes to build a business from the ground up, this is a better education than most. Freshers, final-year students, and candidates with up to 1 year of work experience are encouraged to apply. We also offer a 6-month internship track for those not ready for a full-time commitment yet. What You'll Do * Talk to real customers every day, over the phone, on video, and over email, and help them find the right life insurance product for their needs. * Stay on top of your leads pipeline and make sure no prospect is left waiting or falling through the cracks. * Learn how to navigate a full sales cycle alongside experienced teammates and insurer partners. * Support day-to-day operations around policy booking, placement, and post-sales, understanding that the job doesn't end at the sale. * Bring energy and curiosity to every interaction. Customers can tell when someone actually cares. What We're Looking For * Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of work experience. Final-year students open to a 6-month internship are welcome too. * Someone who can hold a conversation, clear, confident, and credible whether in person, on a call, or over email. * The ability to explain something complex and make it feel simple. That's a skill, and we'll help you sharpen it. * Comfort with targets. You'll have them, and we want someone who's motivated by them rather than stressed by them. * A genuine eagerness to learn. This role has a steep learning curve and that's exactly the point. * Any prior exposure to insurance, financial services, or personal finance is a bonus, not a requirement. Why This Role Most early-career roles hand you a script and a headset. This one gives you real customers, real conversations, and real stakes from week one. You'll learn how insurance actually works, what it takes to earn a customer's trust, and how to build a career in sales with a strong foundation under you. We're building the future of workplace health and we need people who feel that in their work.
Responsibilities
The role involves daily communication with customers via phone, video, and email to help them select appropriate life insurance products and rigorously managing the leads pipeline to ensure no prospect is overlooked. Additionally, the representative will support daily operations related to policy placement and post-sales activities.
