Description
  • Independently manage end-to-end sea freight import and export operations, including FCL and LCL shipments.
  • Coordinate bookings, shipping instructions, Bills of Lading, manifests, VGM and other shipping documentation.
  • Liaise directly with shipping lines, overseas agents, terminals, transport providers and customers.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, transshipments, cargo arrivals and final deliveries.
  • Coordinate port operations, customs clearance arrangements and inland transportation.
  • Manage free time, demurrage, detention and other operational matters.
  • Verify supplier invoices, monitor shipment costs and ensure accurate job costing.
  • Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Support the development and improvement of internal operational procedures.
