As a Sea Logistics Requirement Engineering - Systems Support Expert, you will be a key asset within the Sea Logistics Business Unit. You will contribute to Kuehne+Nagel’s position as the market leader in sea freight by providing expertise in process analysis, project management, and assisting with documentation and business process modeling, all in compliance with Kuehne+Nagel standards.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Strong expertise in Reporting and Data Analysis, with knowledge of Business Objects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced experience in data analysis, complex functions, and reporting tools.
• Experience in Project Management, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of projects.
• At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Improvement, focusing on identifying inefficiencies and optimizing processes.
• Experience in the Freight Forwarding or Shipping field is required.
• Initial experience in an international environment, working with diverse teams and managing cross-border projects is a plus.Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.

YOUR ROLE

In this role, through data analysis and structured methodologies, you will ensure the optimal utilization of systems, driving excellent data quality and productivity. Also, by focusing on Processes & Systems, you will manage the process support function, overseeing all activities related to functional systems support.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure systems excellence through high adherence to designed processes, reporting, and process audits in collaboration with the process excellence function.
• Implement and support the usage of the entire system landscape through efficient and optimal system configurations.
• Support nearshoring activities to the Kuehne+Nagel Global Services.
• Cooperate with stakeholders for application development, from requirement gathering to software solution design and testing.
• Coordinate system testing and secure related documentation as per national standards.
• Identify recurring issues, provide systematic solutions, and identify training needs.
• Foster continuous improvement and commit to finding improvements as well as seek opportunities for the organization that will further our operational and strategic goals.Conduct training sessions, implementing the training plan developed by the national Processes + Systems department.
