Description Position Summary The Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving seafood products in order to maintain the integrity of inventory levels. Duties and Responsibilities Inspect all incoming trucks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Print required reports, license plates/receiving labels Unload truck and inspect the condition of goods received Accurately identify and receive incoming product Move product to seafood cooler, properly rotate inventory – First In, First Out (FIFO) Properly receive product into the Target System Maintain HAACP standards Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers Maintain safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary for the job Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Requirements Must have basic computer skills Forklift and reach truck experience required Ability to identify product by size, type, or product code Solid reading skills – must be able to read PO’s and match item on PO’s to items received Possess basic math and reasoning skills Ability to understand and execute instructions Possess general understanding of the warehouse and footprint Ability to operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices) Benefits Euro USA, Inc. offers the following benefits which are available the first of the month following 60 days of employment: Medical Dental Vision Basic Life/AD&D Insurance 401k Euro USA is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
