OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a keen eye for detail. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for altering, repairing, and creating garments to meet brand specifications while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. This position requires high end tailoring experience and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques. Juki / Consew
• Strong understanding of garment construction principles.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Previous experience in customer service within the industry is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• A passion tailoring is highly desirable.
• Must speak English

• Perform alterations on various types of garments, suits, jackets, pants and shirts.
• Use industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute precise alterations.
• Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make recommendations based on individual preferences.
• Repair damaged garments by replacing zippers, fixing seams, and making other necessary adjustments.
• Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with the team to understand customer demands.
• Press new garments daily.
