As a Search Consultant in the Legal practice, you are responsible for supporting and executing on search delivery. Role & Responsibilities: Effectively support a search process by candidate sourcing, identification, initial assessment, and object handling. Effectively interpret the client’s needs into the appropriate candidate profile to guide outreach strategy and initial qualification conversations. Conduct initial candidate screening conversations to share opportunity and assess high-level fit, interest and availability, while maintaining alignment with company messaging guidelines. Generate qualified candidate interest and schedule follow-up discussions as appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity within the firm’s internal database to ensure compliance. Adhere to firm standards and compliance requirements across all verbal and written candidate communications. Depth and breadth of a specific client industry, translating that knowledge into effective candidate engagement and informed conversations. Requirements Competencies: Candidate Assessment & Presentation - Conducts initial candidate assessments, evaluating skills, motivations, and fit for the role, and prepares and presents candidate profiles for client update calls. Internal Client & Candidate Management - Manages interactions with internal clients and candidates independently, demonstrating accountability, professionalism, and proactive problem-solving. Research Strategy Development - Develops and tailors research strategies to meet specific client needs, showing insight and adaptability in approach. Developing Subject Matter Knowledge - Shows curiosity and commitment to learning about specialized areas, taking steps to explore areas of opportunity within the practice. Search Logistics Execution & Compliance - Independently manages all search logistics in strict compliance with data and process standards, ensuring an efficient search process. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors’ degree preferred. Experience in sales, telemarketing or legal field is preferred. elf-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to meet target/quotas. Worked in or sold to the AM Law 100 or 200 is preferred. Strong customer service skills. Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
