Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Proven experience in SEO, with exposure to Generative Engine Optimisation and App Store Optimisation
  • Experience working in complex, regulated industries (financial services preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.Deep understanding of SEO tools and platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog)

This role will directly drive new customer growth by enhancing AMP’s organic visibility across web and app channels. By leading technical improvements and optimising for both search engines and generative platforms, the role will deliver an excellent user experience and site performance. These enhancements will result in higher conversion rates and greater engagement across AMP’s digital assets. Ultimately, the position will play a critical part in supporting AMP’s business growth and digital transformation objectives across our products. Your responsibilities will include;

  • Technical SEO Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of advanced SEO strategies, with a strong focus on technical improvements such as crawlability, indexing, structured data, page speed, and Core Web Vitals across amp.com.au, northonline.com.au, and mobile app landing pages.
  • Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO): Monitor, test, and optimise AMP’s digital assets for discoverability and performance in generative search environments (e.g., Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT search), ensuring AMP remains at the forefront as search behaviour evolves.
  • App Store Optimisation (ASO): Develop and execute ASO strategies for AMP’s mobile apps, including keyword targeting, metadata optimisation, asset management, and A/B testing to improve visibility and conversion within app stores.
  • Technical Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, translating SEO, GEO, and ASO requirements into actionable technical tasks. Work closely with developers to scope, prioritise, and deliver website and app enhancements
