JOB SUMMARY: Professional, self-motivated, and quality-focused Seasonal Warehouse Maintenance Assistant for our summer peak season. Assist with light facility maintenance, assembly, and organization to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Locate orders throughout the warehouse using picklists and select them for customer orders * Pack orders and wrap merchandise using specific industry procedures to ensure safe transport * Receiving product and put away using purchase orders to store into the appropriate locations * Inspect merchandise against packing slips and purchase orders to verify quantities and spot any damage or defects * Tag items and properly store them in designated warehouse locations * Sweep floors, keep aisles clear of debris, and remove potential safety hazards from the workspace for cleanliness * Paint designated surfaces such as walls, safety lines, and railings using rollers and brushes. * Adhere to safety rules by always wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE). * Commitment to safety and a hazard-free work environment * Performs other duties as assigned. PROHIBITED TASKS * No operation of power-driven machinery, including forklifts, jacks, circular saws, or drills. * No working on elevated surfaces including roofs, scaffolding, or high extension ladders. * No handling of hazardous materials, toxic chemicals, or commercial-grade solvents. * No heavy electrical or plumbing troubleshooting. EDUCATION * Enrolled in High School or * Related experience required. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Must be 16 or 17 years of age. * Valid California Work Permit required prior to starting employment. * Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using manual hand tools. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety instructions. * Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Lifting / Carrying: Ability to lift or move items ranging from up to 30 pounds. * Mobility: Significant walking, standing, and climbing * Physical Agility: Occasional crouching, kneeling, stooping, crawling, or bending to access client sites or handle equipment. * Frequently utilization of fine finger dexterity for digital systems and equipment inspections. * Sensory Requirements: High level of verbal communication (talking/hearing) and clear close/distance vision for driving and presentations. * Environmental Adaptability: Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments, including warehouses, or outside. Varied Temperature changes, minimal chemical hazards, Vibration, dust and vehicle noise.
