An exciting seasonal opportunity has arisen within our Lacock branch to be part of an inspirational team as a Seasonal Assistant in our Christmas Department.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and great motivation are essential to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Full & part time positions available, will include weekend working. Applicants must be able to work weekdays during term time. This is a temporary role however there may be a possibility of a permanent role after Christmas.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all customers are greeted and offered assistance
  • Handling customer queries courteously and efficiently
  • Identifying customer needs through interaction, and taking appropriate action
  • Maintaining good, up-to-date knowledge of the layout of the centre
  • Excellent standard of merchandising and housekeeping are established and maintains in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ensure personal compliance with Whitehall’s H&S guideline
  • Packing of goods is carried out in a professional manner taking care not to damage items.
  • Maintains a harmonious and cooperative relationship with staff, managers and third parties
  • Trolleys and baskets always available
  • Assisting in the Christmas Department, including putting out stock and pricing. Attention to detail and good accuracy required.
